August Monroe just wanted to become a chef…

Then a Sovereign’s unchecked rage cleaved the world in two and stole the only person who ever truly knew her.

She should’ve drowned in grief.

Instead, she sharpened her knives.

When her mentor rises at the head of a growing Resistance, August refuses to stand aside. But war offers no clean lines, and patience runs thin. Desperate for answers, she infiltrates the palace of a powerful Sovereign, stepping straight into the shadows of the magic that destroyed her world.

But something ancient stirs in her blood—something the Fallen Stars would kill to possess.

In a realm unraveling with secrets, magic, and betrayal, August will stop at nothing to find the people she loves—even if it takes everything she has, and even if everyone else gives up.

Betrayal. Found Family. Feminine Rage. And a girl who refuses to break.

This is August’s story—and she’ll walk through fire to make it her own.

Publishing a book has been a bucket-list dream since high school, but it wasn't until last year, amidst a period of personal healing, that I truly committed. My creative roots can be traced back to countless fantasy and magical books, and now I can say I have my own story to share.

Auras of the Fallen Stars is my fantastical daydream brought to life, infused with pieces of myself and every human I've encountered along the way. Through its raw, realistic pages, I aim to create a world that feels both welcoming and cathartic, hoping readers find not just an escape, but also a profound connection, knowing they're not alone.

“I laughed, I ugly cried and I could not put this book down. I NEEDED to know what was coming next. The MCs were so relatable and personable; August is an absolute WEAPON!

You can really see that Mara poured her heart and soul into this book! Only complaint…I need book 2 right now 😂”

“It’s an epically broad and emotionally deep story that will keep you intrigued the entire way through. And I promise it’s like nothing you’ve ever read!

This is going to be a phenomenal multi-book series that will introduce you to gods and goddesses in a brand new way.”

“I absolutely loved August’s character! She was feisty, determined, and had the best inner banter! I found her character so relatable, a strong exterior but often second guessing herself internally as we saw in her inner banter.

I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series - it can’t come soon enough and I will be thinking about what comes next until I have it in my hands!”
